Gemeinhardt
From the mind of a master, Kurt Gemeinhardt, come the remarkable creations of Gemeinhardt Flutes and Piccolos. Since his arrival to America in 1928, Kurt eventually opened his own manufacturing plant after apprenticing under his father in his homeland of Germany. Today, Gemeinhardt has emerged as one of the world's finest flute and piccolo makers, still passing along time-honored techniques. Now fusing an artistic tradition with advancements in modern technology and manufacturing, Gemeinhardt instruments feature unsurpassed structural precision and consistent sound signatures.Gemeinhardt professional, student, or conservatory flutes all feature durable construction with materials that stand the test of time. Professional flutes have Gemeinhardt's special pointed pad cups with supplied treated, unbleached pads. Conservatory flutes deliver a full, warm tone with a good range of G-A options for whatever orchestra/small group setting. Students prefer Gemeinhardt's flute designs that promote focused intonation with minimal effort.
