1867 Confederation Log Homes
The pride and care we take in every one of our homes has led 1867 Confederation Log Homes to become the number one log home manufacturer in North America. Today thousands of families have shared our dream around the world. And more than a quarter century later, we're not content to rest on our laurels - we're too busy honing our techniques and developing new technologies and materials in our quest to deliver the very best home possible.
It all begins with the tree. Each is carefully selected, and only cut in the winter because we know that sap travels down to the roots in winter. That means our logs are virtually free of sap and will last even longer.
1867 Confederation Log Homes use White Pine with a moisture content between 15% and 18%. Western Red Cedar is also available. The squared log timbers are dry seasoned measuring 6" x 12".
People the world over turn to 1867 Confederation Log Homes for Canadian quality, experience and our unfailing commitment to quality materials and craftsmanship, innovation and design creativity.
Whether a home is being shipped across town or around the world, it has to be perfect. To be sure, we take the extra step of constructing your home in our factory before dismantling it and shipping it to you.
