Day 30 of Fab’s Journey to 1 Million Tweets – One-Month Mark!

[ 14 ] April 15, 2011 |

I have come to the conclusion that Twitter is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you are going to get till your first tweet. Thanks, Forrest.

Some days I come on, and all my favs are here.

Some days I don’t know anyone, but manage to make new favs.

Some days I don’t get anything at all and feel all depressed, but that is at like 4:16 in the morning when I am sleep-tweeting.

Speaking of mornings, turns out people loved our late-night comedy tweets, especially @getalonghome (we <3 you). We have been giving people random smiles in the wee hours, and that is #fabulous.

Today was like a big reunion for us. We got to see all of our favs drop by and say hello which is always nice. Hello, @msmorev, @dinaj, @lifeonprint, @stacy614, @ddubjkmuchlove, @paulakap8, @mellanhead, @marjorie7777, @ciesla504, @eyewonit, @LiveLaughLoveCJ, and @emilioplease!

We also extended the entry-submission deadline for our Facebook contest to Monday as per the requests of many followers. Put some thought into it since the entries so far have been really creative!

I can’t believe how fast this week has flown by. It’s Friday already, and not only is it Friday, it is my 30th day in my journey. How cool is that?

This milestone brought on the discussion of what #fabulous means to everyone. We had so many different responses.

Me personally, it means impeccable, something better than good – great but more regal than amazing. Shannon thinks it’s a super girly, glitzy and everything pink and Tyra Banks.

What does the word “FABULOUS” bring to your mind? We would love to know what it means to you. Can you please help us? Leave a comment to tell us your take, and we will pick one of you to receive a $25 Starbucks card.

BTW, yesterday’s winner is Diane Redcay with Crazy Train ’cause that is bang on for you. WHAT A CRAZY DAY!

It is now 6 o’clock, and I have 976,411 tweets to go.

Fabulous to me is an attitude, a way of thinking and seeing things, a state of mind, choosing to be nothing less than yourself, full on, with no regrets. To me, life in general is pretty dang fabulous, it is what we choose to make of it with What we are given. Fabulous is another day that you wake up alive, healthy, happy with the people you love.
