Call of Duty: Black Ops Aims to Live Up to Predecessor

This is an exciting week for gamers. Today, the latest Call of Duty game launched, and anticipation is through the roof.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is the third installment in the Call of Duty series – the second of which, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, had the biggest launch in gaming history. In Black Ops, players go behind enemy lines and can opt for a variety of roles.

The game is available in three versions:

Standard Edition, $59.99

  • Buy it for your PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii or Nintendo DS.

Hardened Edition, $79.99

  • Comes with four extra playable zombie co-op maps, exclusive Avatar outfit and collector’s medal.

Prestige Edition, $149.99

  • Comes with an RC-XD video surveillance vehicle and transmitter, so you can receive video and audio from up to 200 feet away. Includes the entire Hardened Edition.
