2010 Fall Fashion Trends for Women

[ 0 ] August 31, 2010 |

Attention, trendsetters! If you’re looking for the top trends to rock next season – then look no further! I’ve got all the hot looks for Fall 2010 covered. So, you can stay on top of the fashion trends and (of course) be the envy all your friends.

Here are four hot trends for Fall 2010 in fashion. I’ve gathered some of my favorite pieces to give you ideas on how to wear each look:

The color grey is usually associated with lazy day sweats and the cold. But, this season, push those pressumptions aside because Grey is officially HOT! Pair this neutral with pops of colour or other neutrals. You can even mix up different shades of grey. Or, if you’re super trendy, pair your favorite grey piece with another fall trend.

Left to right: Embellished Vintage Cardigan, $59.50, Gap; Tassel Ballet Flats, $32.99, Gap; Silk Ruffle Dress, $69.50, Gap.

There isn’t one fashion magazine or blog that hasn’t named the military trend as one of the must haves for the season – and, trust me, I read A LOT of fashion blogs and magazines. So, what are you waiting for? If you’re the trendsetter I know you are, you need one of these pieces in your wardrobe.

Left to right: Chelsea Small Shoulder Bag, $150,  Banana Republic; Wanted Field Boot, $68, Urban Outfitters; Belted Pouch Pocket Jacket, $150, Banana Republic.

Animal Print

This one’s my personal favorite. But, that’s probably because I’ve always had a weakness for animal print. This trend looks best when it’s used as an accent to an already fabulous outfit. Try a cute scarf, shoe or clutch to add a pop. But please, before you try this trend remember – head to toe animal print is not cute!!! Thank-you.

Left to right: Spots and Skulls Silk Scarf, $475, Saks Fifth Avenue; Samie Animal Print Ballet Flat, $98, Banana Republic; Cotton Animal Print Cardi, $69.50, Banana Republic.

Finally, we come to the lace trend. This is another one that has been talked about everywhere in the fashion world. This is a great trend to try, especially for evening wear. Similar to animal print, you may want to add lace accessories to your outfit to help spice it up. And, for the daring trendsetter, try mixing lace with a military piece to give your outfit an interesting contrast between feminine and masculine.

Left to right: Greenwich Lace Tankdress,  $138, Saks Fifth Avenue; Tublar Lace Legging, $98, 7 for All Mankind; Sleeveless Genette Vest, $54, Guess.

Did we miss a trend? What style are you most looking forward to this fall?
